Abstract
Social media has become an effective communication tool over the last decade. Social media is very useful for libraries as it provides several opportunities to interact with library users, promote libraries, and develop library services. This study aims to review related literature on social media and library marketing. By doing so, it is hoped to enhance the understanding of social media, highlight the roles of social media, explore how adoption and use of social media in academic libraries.
