Abstract
Medium and Small manufacturing enterprises face a number of challenges when integrating computer-aided design (CAD) tools and computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools into their design processes. The study examines the enhancement of the product development process resulting of co-relating Finite Element results with Actual results. Efforts are made to create an in-house capability to perform FEA analysis that has streamline Product development process by comparing Simulation results and Actual results. In the present study the model of engine pedestal is designed with the help of Pro-E software and then by importing it in ANSYS Software. The static analysis of engine pedestal is done with the help of ANSYS software and the final result of ANSYS Software is compared with the lab result. The result shows that the modified pedestal is better than the old one.
