Abstract
In this paper we present the analysis and performance evaluation of
ns2 to facilitate the simulation and upcoming wired & wireless networks. We have
briefly explained in the table the comparison between widely used network
simulators. Here we have presented the framework for ns2 to facilitate the simulation
and also explained the implementation steps. We have shown the performance
evaluation matrix. We have also shown the steps to bring improvement in the
specified factors affecting the performance of network.
