Abstract
Every principal or director of a college has distinct style of leadership. In the present study, it was found that transformational style of leadership was the most common style of leadership among the college principals and directors and was closely followed by transactional style. Laissez Faire was not a favourable style among college principals and directors as resulted from the study. Qualification and experience of the college principals were not found to be related with the leadership style.
