Abstract
A coaxial fed rectangular micro-strip antenna at L=30mm and W=40mm is considered to investigation the effect of width of the antenna on antenna performance. The probe diameter is taken as 1.6mm for the 50 ohms coaxial probe feed. The substrate parameters are, dielectric permittivity is 4.4 at a height of 3.2mm. Theoretical calculations using this HFSS software are good agreement with reported measured and theoretical results [1]. The size of the ground plane is considered is infinite.
