The insurance industry in India has undergone a sea change after liberalization and is experiencing unacceptable levels of customer demands, which impels constant organizational learning. Primary data for the study are collected systematically using questionnaire from 182 employees of general insurance companies on the dimensions of supporting learning environment namely, psychological safety, appreciation of differences, openness to new ideas, and time for reflection.
