Abstract
This study investigates in to the factors influencing job satisfaction of women police personnel in Punjab state of India. Data was collected from 500 women police personnel using referral sampling technique. With the help of factor analysis the study identified 9 factors influencing women police’s job satisfaction, namely, organizational policy, infrastructure and working conditions, financial and other benefits, training and development, recognition and respect, working hours, appeals and grievances handling procedures, working team and social services. Findings of the
present study will be useful for the police organizations, government and policy makers in formulating policies and procedures for the growth and development of women police personnel.
