Abstract
The current study aims to review the existing literature on Organizational Ambidexterity (OA), specifically in the context of the hotel industry. This review synthesizes the literature on OA in the hotel industry using the TCCM (Theory, Context, Characteristics, and Methodology) framework and SPAR-4-SLR (Scientific Procedure and Rationale for Systematic Literature Review) protocols. Thirty research papers have been reviewed using Scopus and Google Scholar databases in a time frame of 2014-2023. The results indicate that most of the research had a quantitative focus toward research conducted in developing countries like Spain, Taiwan, and Italy. Moreover, OA scholars predominantly used resource-based theory in the context of the hotel sector. There is a void of research in developing countries seeking mixed and qualitative approach. The present study provide a conceptual framework for future research focusing theoretical development, characteristics, contexts, and Methodological dimensions.
