Abstract
The paper relates to the financial appraisal of two major contributing companies in Indian software industry: TCS & Wipro. The financial appraisal has been done through various ratios and statistical tools in various areas. Appraisal is done not only on the profitability but also on its various allied activities. In this paper efforts have been made to study each important tool and technique for appraisal of financial position of two players of software industry of our country.
