Abstract
Introduction: During the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, many countries closed its borders to stop the spread of the virus. Travel bans were implemented. The Airline was severely affected leaving its employees like the flight attendant putting their job and health at risk. This research explores the situation and lived experiences of flight attendants during the pandemic and the new normal. The approach of this study is to conduct a an interview to selected flight attendants that specifically attempts to attempts to seek the challenges faced by the flight attendats during pandemic and the new normal, the opportunities that can be explored, and the perception of the participants about the outlook of the airline industry. In was revealed that most of the flight attendant experienced difficulty in their job such as fear of getting infected and worrying about job security. The participants shows positive insights about the future of aviation industry.
